Enjoyed working with Lt Col Reh in the 544th DIS when he was the OPs Officer. Enjoyed running in to Bill and catching up on family stuff in the hallways of STRATCOM. He beamed with pride when talking about his son Billy and hockey. I will miss you and those catch up sessions we would have. You touched the lives of so many people… you will be greatly missed.

My condolences to the family. Bill was a great friend, a dependable co-worker, and as fine a man as there could be. A Great American who was taken from us way too young. Yes, he will indeed be missed.

  • SMSgt William L. Germer, USAF (ret) says:

I fist met Bill when he was a 2nd Lt at SAC in 1977. He was a funny, wild man! And a good, hard working officer. Later I worked for him at STRATCOM, and he was a fantastic, caring leader. We shared an interest in collecting historical military items. He’s defiantly left a positive mark on our Nation’s Defense enterprise. He rarely talked about his time in Vietnam, but it left a scar on him, as it did on millions of young men that served there. RIP Brother. You’ve earned it. You will be missed.
